Show Your Love: Millsaps College Giving Day – February 25, 2025!
Get ready for an exciting and impactful Day of Giving at Millsaps College on February 25 with Show Your Love! This year, we have fun and competitive challenges to boost the Millsaps spirit and show our collective support for the college we love. Here's how you can get involved and help make a difference:
Decade Challenge: Alumni, it’s time to represent your class decade! The decade with the highest participation and donations will be crowned the Decade Champion. Will the 80s, 90s, or the 2010s come out on top? Every gift counts toward your decade’s success!
Greek Life Challenge: Greek organizations at Millsaps College will compete to see which chapter raises the most funds and which council chapters (National Pan-Hellenic Council - NPHC, Interfraternity Council - IFC, and National Panhellenic Conference - NPC) have the highest participation. Members can encourage students, alumni, parents, faculty, and community members to contribute.
Incentives:
- Greek Challenge: The Greek organization that raises the most money overall will receive $500.
- Greek Council Challenge: Greek organizations at Millsaps College will compete to see which council chapters have the highest participation. Each Greek Council (NPHC, IFC, and PC) will have its own winner based on the highest participation, and will receive $500.
How to Participate:
- Donate on February 25 to represent your decade or Greek chapter! Spread the word and get your friends, family, and fellow alumni involved to make an even bigger impact.
Together, we can show the world just how strong and united the Millsaps community is! Let's make this year's Giving Day unforgettable.
We are thrilled to share the incredible results of this year’s Day of Giving, thanks to your generosity and support! Together, we raised $250,191, far surpassing our $155,000 goal. With 450 donors from 31 states, we’ve made a lasting impact on the future of Millsaps College.
A special thank you goes to those who offered challenge matches—your support helped double the impact and inspired even greater engagement. We also saw 50% of donations made via digital wallets, making giving faster and easier than ever!

Decade Challenge: • Winner (Dollars Raised): 1990s • Winner (Highest Participation): 2010s We celebrated these victories with a great lunch with alumni from the '90s and '10s!
Greek Challenge: • Dollars Raised Winner: Lambda Chi Alpha • IFC Participation Winner: Pi Kappa Alpha • NPHC Participation Winner: Alpha Phi Alpha • NPC Participation Winner: Kappa Delta Each winning chapter will receive $500 from the Office of Annual Giving to support their chapter needs.
Residence Hall Challenge: We had our first-ever Residence Hall Challenge with incredible participation! • 1st Place: Susanna Residence Hall (40% participation) • 2nd Place: Charles Residence Hall (35% participation) • 3rd Place: New South Residence Hall (35% participation) • 4th Place: Bacot Residence Hall (34.3% participation) Congratulations to Susanna Residence Hall for leading the charge! They’ll be receiving a special Coffee Prose student break as a thank you for their efforts.
